HCCD´s Medical Support for Your Treatment

Your medical records
Only our staff and medical practitioners, who are working on your case, have access to your medical history. After verifying your medical records we consult our hospital doctors to decide on your specific therapy. This will depend very much on the disease you are suffering from, on your previous pre-clinical and clinical treatments, the progression of the disease and your general state of health. Please have confidence in us and trust that we treat your medical case with the relevant professionalism, respect and diligence. If we require more diagnostic results in order to make a decision about your medical case, we will discuss it with you in detail and contact your doctor/s back home.

Second opinion
University hospitals often operate interdisciplinary centres, tumour therapy or endocrinology diseases for instance, where doctors specialising in the different medical fields work hand in hand and can draw on each other’s expertise. Where the disease is complex and puzzling we make every effort to consult our hospital specialists that have substantial international experience. Patients often feel overwrought by the baffling medical terminology. At HCCD we are sympathetic to our patients’ fears and concerns and therefore take on the role of mediator between doctor and patient. Our main goal is finding the right treatment for you and presenting you with a therapy plan that is tailored to your own, individual case.

Our medical advice
Right from the start HCCD counsels its patients. We make helpful suggestions regarding your medical treatment and regularly discuss your treatment with your doctors. We are by your side throughout, providing expert assistance.

In-patient or out-patient
Some medical conditions, such as hand or knee injuries, do not always necessitate a stay in hospital. Hospitals provide out-patient treatment if the condition allows this. As an out-patient you will still receive all the benefits of our all-inclusive service. We arrange all your medical treatment and also arrange your and your families’ accommodation in a top hotel with everything you need, including medical care should this be necessary.

Children’s treatment
Children have a much more difficult time to cope with the trauma of a medical treatment or operation. German hospitals offer special therapeutic concepts for children and their parents. The children’s wards are suitably equipped with colourful surroundings and play facilities and entertainment programmes are offered. Doctors and nurses make every effort so that parents and children can spend the whole day together.

Women’s treatment
For women it is frequently much harder to go abroad for medical treatment, as family commitments, especially looking after children, prevent them from leaving home. We recognise the extra pressures women face and are trying to accommodate these at HCCD. We try and take into consideration your entire specific family and household responsibilities and organize your medical treatment around these. The therapies will depend on the length of time you are able to stay away from home and are able to remain in Germany to receive treatment and whether or not it would be possible for you to finish the treatment back at home.

Tourists’ treatment
Patients who depend on regular medical treatment often have difficulty in planning their holidays abroad. For instance, patients with terminal renal insufficiency need regular dialysis to stay alive. Munich and its wonderful mountainous surroundings and attractive sightseeing places makes for a perfect holiday destination – and HCCD can organize the medical treatment for tourists who require recurring or even constant medical treatment.

Post-operative and after-treatment
Medical therapy or treatment is only successful when it is combined with an efficient post-operative treatment or after-treatment. HCCD can organize your after-treatment either in Germany or at home. Following your stay in hospital you are able to relax in a comfortable and modern rehabilitation clinic with expertly trained staff to gain back your strength to cope with everyday life.

Health Care Consulting & Development have excellent connections and cooperation with hospitals in other countries. Prior to your arrival back home we contact and update your local medical practitioner to ensure you receive the proper medical care and remain healthy. Occasionally medical aids may be needed to assist with everyday tasks and to progress your recovery. For safety reasons we only recommend certified up-to-date medical products from internationally approved suppliers who have a proven track record.
